Sinai & Civics: How Torah Shaped America

Tuesdays | August 4, 11, 18 & 25 | 7:00 PM
Dinner Included

What if many of the values that define America didn’t begin in Philadelphia but at Mount Sinai?

In this four-part course, we’ll explore the surprising connection between the Torah and the founding ideals of the United States. Discover how concepts like human dignity, equality, justice, personal responsibility, liberty, and the rule of law have deep roots in Jewish thought, and how those timeless values helped shape the American experiment.

This course is designed for young Jewish adults who want to better understand what Judaism truly stands for, not only through the lens of Jewish history and persecution, but through the extraordinary ideas that Judaism has contributed to civilization and continues to contribute today.

Whether you grew up with a strong Jewish background or only recently discovered your Jewish heritage and want to explore the ideas of Torah more deeply, this course will give you a new appreciation for your heritage and the profound impact Judaism has had on the world around us.

Dinner is included, and all course materials will be provided. Join us for four engaging evenings of learning, discussion, and meaningful conversation.
